The Brattleboro Area Community Land Trust’s overall purpose is to enhance the quality of life of low and moderate income citizens; to preserve and revitalize neighborhoods; to foster diversity; and to improve the social, economic, and cultural health of communities of Windham County. To accomplish this, BACLT acquires, rehabilitates, and holds land and housing in trust, providing permanent access to decent and affordable housing for low and moderate income residents of the county.
